Designing forest monitoring dashboards
Challenge
Everimpact monitors health, carbon and biodiversity of nature based solutions using satellite images, IPCC models and in depth forestry knowledge. As a start-up, they needed support to design their pilot dashboards with a user-centred design approach.
Research
We conducted user interviews of carbon project developers and nature based solution experts to better understand their needs, refine the value proposition and map user personas. Card sorting exercises allowed us to prioritise data to include in the dashboards.
Application UX and UI
We created clickable Figma prototypes to be used for further testing and as demo material for potential clients. The prototypes and design system was given to the development team to build the MVP.
